Sarah Knoll is a NYC-Based photographer and writer. Growing up in Manhattan, Sarah attending an alternative teaching high school, where her writing skills developed. Having students write thesis papers and presentations, Sarah was able to communicate her ideas and thoughts through written word.
Sarah graduated in 2014 and began attending college at SUNY Albany where her love for photography began. After taking an introductory photo course in her sophomore year, she couldn’t stop shooting. Soon she merged her love of music and photography by attending music shows within her college town. Sarah then decided to move back to her stomping grounds of NYC to emerge in the music and arts scene there.
Since then, she has taken on contributing roles as both a writer and photographer for The Alternative, Audiofemme and Lomography. She graduated in 2019 with her degree in Art from Brooklyn College.
